Marc René is currently a business Director at MetLife Auto and Home. Marc's experience with software quality assurance, testing, software engineering, process improvement, and customer support spans more than twenty years. Marc has experience in the defense, process control for manufacturing and production, gaming, and insurance industries. In addition, he has published articles in The Journal of Software Testing Professionals, Software Quality Professional, Better Software magazine, and other industry trade journals. Marc has spoken multiple times at the STAREAST Conference as well as for many other quality, testing, and project management groups. Marc is also an adjunct professor of computer science at Rhode Island College. |

Tom Wissink has worked in software development, software configuration management, integration and test, and different levels of software management for more than thirty years. As a Lockheed Martin Fellow, he is responsible for identifying and incorporating integration and test best practices throughout Lockheed Martin. co-chair of the National Defense Industry Association’s Developmental Test & Evaluation Committee, Tom has helped influence legislation and policy changes to improve software testing in US Government acquisition and program execution. |

Jeff is a recognized software expert and speaks to companies nationwide about the business risks of software failure. He has been a keynote and featured speaker at business technology conferences and frequently testifies before Congress on issues of national importance, including intellectual property rights, cyber terrorism, and software quality. |

Joachim Herschmann is director of product management responsible for the Silk line of testing products, which became part of the ASQ/Testing Division of Micro Focus through the acquisition of Borland Software. At Borland, Joachim was in charge of product management for Borland's Lifecycle Quality Management (LQM) suite of products. Previous roles at Borland included solutions marketing manager LQM for the EMEA region. Joachim came to Borland in April 2006 through the acquisition of Segue, a leading testing solution provider. While at Segue, Joachim spent several years as technical account manager and technical consultant in the area of software testing and quality assurance. Joachim has more than 16 years of IT-business experience-more than half in the consulting and testing business.
