- What are the registration
hours?

Registration opens on Sunday and runs
from 5pm to 7pm. Monday
through Thursday registration is open from 8am to 5pm.
- What is the dress code?

Casual, comfortable
attire
is recommended
for speakers and attendees. In August, the weather ranges from the 70s to
mid-80s during the day and can dip to the 50s or 60s at night. You may wish
to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings or varying temperatures
in the hotel.
- What is SQE’s cancellation
policy?

Registrations cancelled after August 10, 2001,
are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. No cancellations or
refunds may be made after August 17, 2001. Substitutions may be made at
any time before the first day of the program. TO CANCEL: Call the
registrar at (904) 278-0707 to obtain a cancellation code. All
valid cancellations require a cancellation code.
- How do I receive confirmation for
my registration?

Once your registration has been
received, it will be processed within two business days and a
Registration or Confirmation letter (based on your payment status) will
be sent to you immediately. You will receive a conference letter
in the mail within five to ten business days.
- How do I register multiple people
online?

Register the first person by completing
all the required fields in the registration
form. Click on Submit. Once you see the screen reading "We
have received your application....," click Back twice on your
browser to return to the registration screen. Change the
appropriate fields (Name, Job Title, Phone, etc...) and submit the
new form just like the first. Repeat as necessary.
- If my confirmation package or my
invoice has not arrived within five to ten business days, what

- Should I bring a laptop
computer?

While a laptop is not required for the
conference, it is preferred by some conference delegates. At
registration, conference delegates will receive paper, a pen, and the Conference
Proceedings in book & CD-ROM format. A limited number of
telephone jacks will be reserved for internet access, so those
wishing to check email outside of the Internet Services kiosk
should bring their own laptops. If you feel you need a laptop for
additional note taking, internet access, or another purpose, you
are encouraged to bring one. Please note that SQE does not provide
storage for laptops or other personal items at the
conference.
- Once I get to the convention center, how will I
know where to go for the conference?

Once you arrive at the convention center, signs
will be posted directing you to the conference. If you have any
questions during the conference, feel free to ask a member of the
Software Test Automation staff.

A limited number of rooms at the Sheraton Boston Hotel are reserved for the Software Test Automation
conference. Rates are $195(US) for a single or double room. This
rate is valid until the room blick is sold out or July, 27, 2001, whichever

Sheraton Boston Hotel Guests: There is a parking garage located at the Sheraton Boston
available to hotel guests. Self-parking is $28 for one day and overnight (until
4:00 PM the following day). Valet parking is also available for $31 over the same
time frame.
Non-Hotel Guests: There are several city lots inthe area of the Boston Sheraton Hotel, where parking
is available on a first-com, first-serve basis. Rates range from $6 for one hour up to
$31 for overnight parking.

From Logan Airport:
- Follow direction sign from terminals to Sumner Tunnel/Rt. 93 North.
- Take the Rt. 93 North ramp as you exit the Sumner Tunnel.
- Exit at Storrow Drive (26B). Follow Storrow Drive approximately
2 miles to the Fenway/Kenmore Exit (1st exit after Massachusetts Ave., on left)
- Stay left as exiting Storrow Drive going towards Fenway
- Continue to 1st set of lights, staying left, going onto Boylston Street.
- Go through 4 sets of lights on Boylston Street. The Hynes Convention
Center's main entrance driveway will be on the right immediately after going through the
4th set of lights.
From Harvard Square:
- Follow Massachusetts Avenue toward Boston, through
Central Square, past MIT. Cross the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge over the Charles
River.
- Go through 5 sets of lights, staying left, to the 6th set of
lights at Boylston Street.
- Turn left onto Boylston Street.
- Go through the next set of lights on Boylston Street.The Hynes Convention
Center's main entrance driveway will be on the right immediately after going through the
4th set of lights.
From Waterfront, North Station, Quincy Market:
- Get onto Rt. 93 North and take the Storrow Drive Exit
(26B), staying left descending exit ramp.
- Go through tunnel on the left, onto Storrow Drive
- Follow Storrow Drive approximately
2 miles to the Fenway/Kenmore Exit (1st exit after Massachusetts Ave., on left)
- Stay left as exiting Storrow Drive going towards Fenway

From Massachusetts Turnpike (Rt. 90 East):
- Take Exit 22 (Prudential/Copley Place).

- At the next set of lights (Belvidere Street), take a right.
- Follow the curve in Belvidere Street to the next right hand
turn in front of the Sheraton driveway, bearing right onto Dalton Street.
- At lights turn right onto Boylston Street. The Hynes Convention
Center's main entrance driveway will be on the right immediately after going through the
4th set of lights.
From Rhode Island:
- Take Rt. 95 North to Rt. 93/Rt.3 North.
- Follow signs to Boston (Rt. 93 North) - Take Exit 16
(Andrews Square Exit).
- Take left at traffic light at top of ramp - continue about
1 mile to Boylston Street.
- At lights turn right onto Boylston Street.
- The Hynes Convention Center's main entrance driveway
will be on your immediate right.
From Maine:
- Take 95 South to 93 South (Exit 37A).
- Take 93 South to Storrow Drive (Exit 26B).
