What is a typical daily schedule?

The Tutorials and Workshops are held on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Concurrent Classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday at various times in 90-minute segments. Throughout the day there are breaks for refreshments, lunch, and a visit to the EXPO. The EXPO is open on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 13, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What is the dress code?

Casual, comfortable attire is recommended for speakers and attendees. In November, the weather ranges from the low 70s during the day to mid 50s at night. You may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings or varying temperatures in the hotel.

What is Software Quality Engineering’s cancellation policy?

Registrations cancelled after Monday, October 20, 2008, are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. No cancellations or refunds may be made after Monday, October 27, 2008. How do I receive confirmation of my registration?

Once your registration has been received, a registration confirmation notice will be sent to you via email within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). Please verify that your email address is entered correctly on the registration form. A confirmation packet will be mailed upon receipt of payment.

Do I need to reserve a seat in any of the tutorials or concurrent classes?

Seating is limited in tutorials, so please reserve your seat early. As we get closer to the conference, some tutorials may be full. In this case you will receive an email asking you to make another selection. All tutorial selections must be made by the first day at the event, November 10, 2008. The Wednesday and Thursday concurrent classes do not require reservations. You may enter or leave any class at any time, space permitting.

Should I bring a laptop computer?

Although a laptop is not required for the conference, it is preferred by some conference delegates. Some tutorials require laptops. Please see the tutorial description page for which ones. If you feel you need a laptop for additional note taking, Internet access, or another purpose, you are encouraged to bring one. Please note that Software Quality Engineering does not provide storage or take responsibility for laptops or other personal items at the conference.
